The conference dedicated to the writer and poet Charles Bukowski takes place in various venues at Bordeaux Montaigne University and downtown Bordeaux: the Salle Jean Borde at the Maison des Sciences de l'Homme de Bordeaux will host most of the conference panels, but participants and the public are also invited on Thursday afternoon to a poetry reading at Bradley's Bookshop before a screening of two films, a short movie by Inès Sedan, "Love, He Said", followed by Bent Hamer's "Factotum", at the Utopia cinema in Bordeaux. The following day, the American photographer Joan Gannij will present her work with Charles Bukowski in the 1970s at the Rigoberta Menchu Library of Bordeaux Montaigne University, with an exhibition of photographs, some of them never seen before.
